Ah-Nab-Awen Park boasts its lush greenery along the Grand River in the heart of West Michigan in downtown Grand Rapids. This park was once the grounds of a Native American village meaning "Resting Place". Ah-Nab-Awen (what a mouth full!) hosts a number of events year-round, however, it's also the perfect spot to spend a casual day enjoying the cityscape and sounds of the Grand River.

Introducing over a month-long series of events celebrating Grand Rapids' art, culture, community and music focused on economic recovery and reactivation. The Bridge GR is a new community celebration designed to create opportunities for community conversations and bridge the gap between our current COVID-19 reality and a bright future.

A wide range of community groups will host a series of events and activities throughout downtown and in various city neighborhoods from August 28 through October 3. Streets, parks, parking lots and yes, bridges will come alive with all manner of entertainment and engagement.
