We’re Giving Back to Heartside Ministry
Heartside Ministry began as a small outreach to the homeless and disenfranchised people of the street. In a neighborhood all but abandoned by businesses and avoided by many, Heartside took up its work to help the most disadvantaged residents of the streets. Heartside grew to meet the needs of the neighbors with programs that welcome and affirm each person’s intrinsic worth and dignity.
Through the years, Heartside Ministry’s role in nurturing growth and positive experiences in the neighborhood has come to include the Art Studio where neighbors come to enjoy a creative and therapeutic outlet, adult literacy and GED classes designed to help neighbors find success and belief in themselves, a chapel filled with neighbors every Sunday, and an advocacy program to give neighbors the help they need in a variety of ways. It is a place for compassion without judgment; a place to be neighbors.
May Group Realtors is proud to be partnering with Heartside Ministry this month with the goal to help raise money to help fund the amazing programs Heartside offers to its neighbors.
