Event Description: Join Kent County Girls on the Run for a FOOD-raiser at EL Granjero Mexican Grill on Wednesday, April 11th from 3pm-11pm! No flyer necessary, just show up hungry, bring some friends, and a portion of sales from the day will be donated to support Girls on the Run program scholarships! Girls on the Run is a running-based character development program serving 3-8th grade girls in Kent County, Michigan. They combine life skill lessons with training for a 5k walk or run, in a creative, interactive and incredibly FUN way! The program provides tools for girls to manage the tough times of adolescence so they are better prepared to grow into strong and confident adult women.
