Learn all about the events in Grand Rapids for July 2017 in this month's edition of 3×3. The month of July brings with it beautiful weather for kayaking adventures in and around Grand Rapids. Some of our favorite kayak operators are GR Paddling, Grand River Kayak and Canoe, and AAA Canoe Rental.

From July 20-22, we've got the always-exciting Grand Rapids Balloon Festival at Ah-NaB-Awen park and the Hudsonville Fairgrounds. The event features carnival games and activites, craft and vendor booths, and most importantly balloon launches! It'll be fun for the whole family, and proceeds from the event are donated to the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, and D.A. Blodgett, St. John's.

To wrap up the month, New Belgium Brewery is hosting it's Tour de Fat on July 29th at Millenium Park. The event features everything from musicians and magicians, to circus performers and comedians. Tickets are $25 for everyone aged 12+, and proceeds from the event benefit local Grand Rapids non-profits Greater Grand Rapids Bicycle Coalition and The Spoke Folks.
