Hugely successful in its Model UN program, the school has swept the Model UN circuit and sent delegates to compete in China, gaining notoriety from Harvard, Yale, Cal Berkeley, and Georgetown. Northern’s debate team also has a history of success, winning the Zieglemueller Award in 2007 for the best debate team in the state of Michigan.
